What is SAP Enable Now?
SAP Enable Now is SAP’s core solution that offers training and support content for all SAP and non-SAP business applications. It is an ideal tool to facilitate the adoption of SAP applications as it allows customers to educate their workforce on new business processes and SAP applications that are typically deployed through SAP business transformations. SAP Enable Now caters to both browser-based applications like S/4HANA, SuccessFactors and Ariba, and desktop applications like SAP ECC, building understanding and skills in these areas.
SAP Enable Now is our corporate learning tool to create (mostly IT related) digital content.
This E-learning solution offers four different components:
- Manager (light LMS capabilities)
- Producer (extended authoring tool)
- Instant Producer (easy to use recording tool)
- SAP Companion (assistance in the live-system)
SAP Enable Now empowers users to develop highly interactive learning content, including simulations to teach system functionality and quizzes to assess and reinforce key topics. This content can then be distributed directly to end-users via searchable content libraries, and it can also be published as SCORM to include in an organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). Additionally, content from SAP Enable Now can be embedded directly into SAP applications using SAP Companion, enabling end-users to access relevant information without leaving their current application.

What is SAP Companion?
SAP Companion is a feature of SAP Enable Now that offers continuous learning opportunities to SAP system users in real-time.
With SAP Companion, end-users of applications like S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, and Ariba can access support information while working on production applications.
This tool allows SAP customers and partners to attach custom messages to screen objects, including fields, and deploy online coaches that provide step-by-step guidance to complete system transactions in live systems.
Additionally, SAP Companion supports content distribution in multiple languages to cater to global workforces and can proactively notify users of any changes in the functionality they use.
Currently integrated into many of SAP’s browser-based applications such as S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass, and Concur, SAP Companion is widely used by SAP customers to support the effective use of their systems and ensure workforce skills and knowledge retention.

About our customer projects
Bridgestone wanted to make its employees more efficient and productive. By using online instead of classroom education, we managed to drastically reduce the time to show someone the ropes. As a result, Bridgestone now manages to train many employees simultaneously.
The goal is to help each department or project determine a correct curriculum and provide them with the digital learning content they need. While doing this we kept Fluvius’ scope and learning strategy in mind to help further develop it.
Elia wanted to digitize their classroom safety training. Amista guided them through the digital transformation. The goal: to support a blended learning approach. To make sure our solution would cover all learning needs, we applied our ZEN best practice Methodology. Using SAP Enable Now, we developed interactive e-learning and quizzes, tailored to their employees.
Ypto wanted their people to execute business processes faster, to better train them for it and cut down the cost of developing those trainings. We set up a preconfigured library with SAP Enable Now and created e-learnings. We made them more fun using interactive elements, quizzes, and custom avatars. Because more fun means people learn faster.
One of the lessons learned during the project is to check upfront if employees have a basic knowledge of online training and how to work with digital tools. It is important that the business knows what digital learning exactly is and how it can support us. Additionally, we were not aware of the importance of content creation and how much effort it required. It is important to have the right people to clearly indicate what is needed. Not all information is suitable. SAP Enable Now is much more extensive and dynamic than expected.
