The role of a Presales Software Solutions Architect for S/4 Public Cloud involves understanding customer needs and crafting solutions using S/4HANA, SAP’s ERP suite, in a cloud-based environment. Your responsibilities might include:

• Understanding Customer Requirements: Engaging with clients to comprehend their business processes, challenges, and objectives.
  Solution Design: S/4HANA in the public cloud, aligning with customer needs and industry best practices. Deep knowledge of the digital discovery assessment to be able to help in the DDA process.
• Technical Expertise: Demonstrating deep knowledge of S/4HANA functionalities, integration capabilities, and cloud deployment strategies (CALM). Being able to help with implementations.
• Presentation and Demos: prepare demos, understand the product features and prepare proof of concept to potential clients (build scenarios, eg. Order-to-cash, loading of data).
• Collaboration: Working closely with sales teams to provide technical expertise in the sales process and ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
• Documentation: Preparing technical documentation, proposals, and responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals).
• Stay Updated: Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, SAP updates, and technological advancements to provide innovative solutions.
