Charity event in India, supporting 750 children!
As the year comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to share some heartwarming news. Our commitment to “We care, we innovate, we deliver, and make sure you love it” extends beyond our business pursuits. That’s why we’ve chosen to give our usual end of the year gifts to a cause that is dear to us.
This year, we are thrilled to announce our support for the Anjanapura Government School in Bangalore, India.
Why India?
The location of our offshore branches in Hyderabad and Bangalore, coupled with the regular travel of our Belgian colleagues, has given us a good perspective on the challenges faced by communities in these regions. Through these interactions, we’ve come to realize the enormity of the impact we can have on local schools. Even the most basic essentials can not be taken for granted and famine is still a big issue. This initiative holds a special place in our hearts.
So, what exactly did we do?
The Anjanapura Government School is a public school and provides education to 750 children from the poorest economical backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to follow daily lessons. While the youngest students between 5 and 8 years old learn to read and write, their lessons take place outdoors. The lack of space and furniture has meant that the children sit on the floor the entire day, as there is no budget to purchase the necessary facilities for this group.
By our support, new tables and chairs have been donated, and it’s heartening to observe that “they love it.” This transformative addition has brought comfort and joy to their learning environment.
Thanks to our customers & partners!
As a result of our trusted collaborations during the past year, our customers and partners made this (indirectly) possible.
That deserves a big thanks!
The children, teachers and staff at the Anjanapura Government School are very grateful for (y)our contribution.
Cheers to 2024 – let’s continue to grow together and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others!
Happy Holidays!
