Amista has several offices in Belgium: in Lier, Destelbergen and Harelbeke.
As SAP Technical Architect – BTP you will be responsible for the successful execution of projects, following up existing customers as well as initiating, designing and starting up new projects.

About your job

  • You will perform project work in the area of Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • You will follow up with existing customers and provide initiation, outlining and start-up of new projects.
  • You work on integration issues, including flows and APIs.
  • You work with technical architects, developers and to a lesser extent with the business.
  • You will act as a problem solver, building bridges between technical and business aspects.
  • You will end up in an environment of large enterprises, where politics and proactivity are essential.
  • You will mostly work remotely, with the possibility to travel internationally (if necessary).

Do you recognize yourself?

First and foremost, you are someone who knows how to get things done and you also like to stay abreast of the latest developments in the market, including by investing in yourself and attending training courses. You complement this with the following traits:

You have in-depth experience with SAP Backend, including integration skills (flows, APIs, etc.).

You have problem-solving skills and hands-on experience as a developer.

You have experience with consulting and implementing technical architecture.

You have excellent presentation skills.

Besides a nice and enthusiastic personality, we are also looking for some strong skills and experiences in the Consultant role:

  • You are an experienced consultant, with at least 5-6 years of experience, of which at least 2 years of demonstrable experience with ABAP, complemented with knowledge of Javascript, Swift or Java.
  • You understand, speak and write both Dutch and English. (If you only speak and write English very well, we could make this work too!)
  • You are willing to work internationally (traveling can occur, but is not a certainty).
