As a SAP B1 Functional Consultant you are the sparring partner for and between customers and colleagues.
About your job
As Functional Consultant for SAP Business One, you work at both tactical and strategic levels and have an advisory role towards management.
Specifically, these are your tasks:
- You identify, assist and advise on various process optimizations.
- You set up and test various modules of SAP Business One (e.g. the modules Financial, Service & Maintenance Equipment, Purchasing/Projects).
- You carry your own projects, but are also part of a team in a project or program
- You monitor the uniformity and standardization of the SAP setup(s)
- You maintain documentation, including setup documents, frequently asked questions or visit reports
- You assist the team with (the more complex) second- and third-line incidents and user questions
- You keep up to date with the latest developments
- You offer guidance during implementation processes
- You contribute ideas to improve the platform

First and foremost, you are curious by nature and therefore like to stay abreast of the latest developments in the market, including by investing in yourself and attending training courses. Which you complement with the following traits:
Besides a nice, open and enthusiastic personality, we are also looking for some strong skills and experiences in the role of SAP B1 Functional Consultant:
- You are an experienced software consultant, with at least two years of relevant work experience.
- You have knowledge of ERP software and have already worked on implementations in a similar role.
- You have a bachelor or master degree in IT or the necessary experience.
- You understand, speak and write both Dutch and English.
- You understand the user impact of changes to the software. You understand ‘natural resistance to change’ and know how to deal with it.
- You have analytical skills
