Project Manager

As a Project Manager you will work on multiple projects simultaneously. You are part of our team which executes SAP implementations, but with your own scope of work. You are responsible for the daily management of your projects and communicate about them on a very regular basis to the customer.

This may sound simple but in practice it means quite a lot! You take care of the detailed planning, allowing our business consultants to get down to business. So if something shifts or goes wrong, you quickly arrange a new schedule. You always have an overview and think in terms of solutions and possibilities. In short, you are a born organizer!

Of course you also maintain intensive contact with our clients. You communicate clearly about the project status and keep a close eye on whether everyone is still on the same page. Uncertainty about agreements is an obstacle to the success of projects. That is why you know how to park wishes outside the planning or record them in such a way that they do not cause any confusion or unexpected delays.

You will manage projects, ensure clear planning, monitor budget and agreements with our client.

Your responsibilities & activities

• You ensure that projects stay on schedule and a successful delivery.
• You are the sparring partner for our customers and the colleagues who take care of the implementations.
• You maintain project documentation. This includes for example setup documents, frequently asked questions and visit reports.
• You identify and analyze software requirements and prioritize them.
• You are numerically strong and have commercial skills so that, during a project, you also capture new opportunities.

• You are a born organizer, keep an overview and know what to do when things go a little differently.
• You are familiar with project methodologies such as Agile Scrum, Prince2 or PMBok.
• You don’t get stressed when things go just a little differently. That is part of your job, you know a solution!
• You can motivate a team and explain things clearly.
• You understand the user impact of changes in the software. You know how to deal with this ‘natural resistance to change’.
• You are analytically strong and quick-witted
• You have the talent to be critical and to express this in a respectful way when a customer experiences uncertainty.
• You are fluent in Dutch and your English is good in word and writing.
• You have a completed HBO or WO education in, for example, business administration, technical business administration or computer science – or you can convince us that you have the right skills if you have completed another education at this level.

Amista has several branches spread throughout the Netherlands. You will find us in Almere, Dordrecht and Venray. Although you can also regularly work from your home office, your main workplace will be our brand-new head office in Venray and of course you will often visit the customer.

In short, your ‘basecamp’ will be Venray but you will also be on the road regularly.
