Functional / Technical Consultant Intelligent Document Processing

As a Functional / Technical Consultant, you will be the bridge between our customers and our technical team.

Specifically, these are your duties:

• You assist and help users and customers with concrete questions regarding their software setup.
• You detect new customer needs
• Based on a good knowledge of our portfolio of products and services, you propose appropriate solutions when the customer needs them
• You implement this solution; depending on your expertise and the amount of work, you do this alone or in a larger team of consultants
• You take care of various process optimizations and are able to understand the user impact of changes in the software
• You guide the team with the more complex second and third line incidents that occur

Then you have the right talents to be successful in this new role:

• You are a bridge builder who actively thinks along with the customer
• You are tech-savvy and Google holds no secrets for you
• You have an understanding of code and can think like a programmer
• You like direct impact of your work on others

In addition to a fine, open and enthusiastic personality, we are also looking for some strong skills and experience in the Functional Consultant role:

• You are an experienced software consultant, with at least two years of relevant work experience.
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or the necessary experience.
• You have analytical skills.
• You are open to working onsite at your client’s premises, in addition to in the office and at home.
• If you have experience with financial processes, that is an absolute plus.
• You understand, speak and write both Dutch and English.

Amista has several branches spread across Belgium. You can find us in Lier (end of 2024: Mechelen), Destelbergen and Harelbeke. Although you can also work from your home office from time to time, your main workplace will be our modern office in Destelbergen and of course you will often travel to the customer as well.

In short, your ‘basecamp’ will be Destelbergen, but you will also be on the road regularly.
