Digital acceleration for wholesalers

Stay relevant, efficient and competitive in a market that is changing at lightning speed.

Your challenges

The wholesale market is changing faster than ever. Margins are under pressure, customers expect flawless service and deliveries “just-in-time”. Meanwhile, you often bump into:

  • Inefficient processes that cost too much time and money
  • Outdated systems that do not integrate with webshop, logistics or finance
  • Lack of real-time data making strategic decisions difficult
  • Dissatisfied users who find systems cumbersome

The consequence? You miss grip on inventory, margins and customer expectations.

Value drivers

Wholesalers work with small margins and high volumes. Amista helps you not only digitise processes, but also steer the KPIs that really make a difference:

Value driver Impact for wholesalers
Stock accuracy Real-time visibility of stock and locations, fewer shortages or surpluses
Order processing time From order to delivery faster and error-free thanks to integrated workflows
On-time delivery Increase reliability of deliveries and serve customers better
Pick accuracy in the warehouse Fewer order picking errors through digitisation and mobile apps
Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) Faster invoicing and collection thanks to digital document flows
Turnover per customer/channel Better insight into margins and profitability by segment or product group
Logistics costs per order Controlling costs through automation and integration of transport and warehouse processes
Return rate Error-free deliveries and better product information reduce returns

By focusing on these value drivers, we help wholesalers increase profitability, reduce operational risks and provide customers with a better experience.

What are the features for wholesalers in SAP ERP?

With SAP ERP, you manage incoming and outgoing deliveries, item data and price lists in one system. You define alternative articles, adjust stock quantities, revalue costs according to market values and carry out periodic counts. Thanks to automatic notifications and pick lists for open orders, you streamline your inventory process and avoid errors.

Thanks to SAP ERP, you have multiple location levels within a warehouse, allowing you to stock goods at different bin locations. You can configure these locations based on specific parameters, constraints and requirements.

With SAP ERP, you manage the picking and packing process clearly in three queues. When you enter sales orders, you see these orders in an ‘open’ queue. You can release this queue for picking and subsequent delivery.

In SAP ERP, you use templates to create serial numbers automatically. You can also assign batches to products and arrange these products according to an attribute, such as shelf life. You can then use the batches of these products for customer orders, delivery notes and stock movements.

With SAP ERP, you set up various price lists that you can link to specific customers or suppliers. In addition, you specify prices per quantity unit based on packaging. The handy price list options give you overview and structure.

In SAP ERP, you manage not only inventory items from production and procurement, but also resources that you do not physically store, such as labour, travel or fixed assets. You record suppliers, units, VAT status and other standard info and store items across multiple warehouses.
