As part of the Starlink Project at Areas, Task Center is implemented to streamline task management for users.

Over time, various types of master data errors accumulate in the back-end ERP system. These errors trigger workflows that generate tasks in SAP Task Center, allowing master data team members to address them directly within the app.

Managers can leverage the analytical app to gain a comprehensive overview of open tasks, track team performance, and gain valuable insights through key performance indicators (KPIs).

About the solution

As part of the Starlink Project, a new solution called SAP Task Center will be implemented to streamline the management of tasks assigned to users. This tool simplifies task handling by automatically generating tasks based on master data errors in the back-end SAP ECC system, which trigger workflows that serve as task providers for SAP Task Center. Users can efficiently work on these tasks directly through the Task Center app. Additionally, managers and admins will have access to their team’s tasks, providing them with a clear overview of the workload and helping to ensure effective task distribution and management.

The implementation of the new system resulted in a highly efficient, unified platform that supports all types of tasks, simplifying management and operations across the team. With the ability to quickly integrate new task types, the system provides the scalability necessary to adapt to evolving business needs.
