Real-time integration for FRoSTA
To improve efficiency and eliminate waste across its operational workflows (a principle known as Lean Management), FRoSTA set out to automate the integration between its improvement management platform, KaiNexus, and its SAP systems. Previously, tasks like maintenance notifications and user provisioning were handled manually, leading to delays, data inconsistencies, and avoidable administrative workload.
The main objective was to establish a robust, event-driven integration that ensured real-time synchronization between KaiNexus, SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors Employee Central, eliminating manual data entry while future-proofing the integration architecture.

About the solution
FRoSTA’s Lean Management integration is built on SAP Integration Suite using modern, event-driven architecture. Maintenance notifications from KaiNexus are automatically created in SAP S/4HANA, and updates from S/4HANA are reflected in real time back into KaiNexus via SAP Event Mesh, eliminating manual entry and delays.
To streamline workforce management, the solution automates user provisioning in KaiNexus based on business logic from SuccessFactors Employee Central, using the Compound Employee API to ensure only relevant users are created.
Robust error handling with Microsoft Teams integration provides instant alerts and supports quick issue resolution, enhancing operational resilience.
